How it works

Three periods. No overtime.

1st period

Drop-off

Drop off any time, 24/7. Keys go in the green drop box and the car, RV, trailer or toy comes into the fenced yard. Dropping off means you agree to our storage terms.

2nd period

On ice

It sits behind a locked gate. Storage charges add up daily at the published rate, paid by whoever takes it out.

3rd period

Release

The bill is paid in full by e-transfer or wire, and the unit is out front for pickup from 10am the next day.

Storage terms

The rules of the yard.

  1. Vehicles, RVs, trailers, ATVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles and other equipment (each a "unit") are stored as a bailee for hire under our storage agreement. Dropping off a unit means the owner agrees to it.
  2. Storage is charged at the published daily rate for the unit's class, from the day the spot is reserved. A gate fee is charged when the spot is reserved (it covers the gate at release), and each time the gate is opened for drop-off, inspection or access.
  3. A unit is released only after all storage charges and fees are paid in full. Whoever collects the unit pays the outstanding bill before the gate opens.
  4. The owner is never billed. DD Warehousing looks only to the unit for its charges: the owner is never billed personally and never owes a shortfall.
  5. DD Warehousing is a warehouser storing goods as a bailee for hire, and holds a lien on each stored unit for unpaid charges under the Warehousemen's Lien Act (Alberta). Any sale for unpaid charges is made under that Act.
  6. Units are stored at the owner's risk. Owners are responsible for insuring their own units. DD Warehousing is not responsible for loss of or damage to stored units or their contents.
  7. DD Warehousing provides storage only. No repairs, servicing or transport.
  8. Charges for days a unit was stored are not refundable.
